Super Mario Flash 3 Hexcorruption
A corruption of that SMF2 hack that the Japanese guy wowed the community with.
SWF Decompiler/JPEXs was not used except to deobfuscate the hex (this is done when saving). This hack is entirely hex-corrupted.
List of known bugs: (SPOILERS)
Entire sections of level may disappear.
Enemies infinitely respawn.
Top corner tiles, airship tiles, pipes, bonus tiles, brown blocks, wall tiles and some others are not solid.
Mario is immune to enemy damage.
Mario gets stuck in an infinite running loop when holding an item.
Cilit Water: Poof and Big Mario is gone.
Blocks affected by Mario or shells can disappear.
Said blocks are known to teleport to previous parts of the level.
There are no coins.
There are no points.
There are no lives.
The title screen inherits level data.
Yoshi sometimes makes a cameo appearance in the top left corner of the title screen.
Custom backgrounds are occasionally broken.
Custom music is broken.
One of the in-game backgrounds is broken.
Some sounds are displaced.
Some sounds are missing.
Some tiles aren't what they're supposed to be.
Exits are placed permanently in the editor.
The level info.
The editor cannot scroll.
Level 1 isn't looking so good.
Probably the other levels aren't either if you can beat it.
Story Mode is a troll that likes to place invisible walls in the path, but only sometimes.
Dialog boxes are now 95% less readable.
The level editor menu seems a bit confused.
The button to copy the url of the Japanese SMF site closes it instead.
The controls menu is even more informative.
World numbers are -1 offset.
